At your earliest convenience, one of our Domestic Energy Assessors will do a 45-minute survey. They will examine your heating system, insulation, and anything else that can have an impact on your home’s energy efficiency. The works that can be installed to raise your EPC band by two levels will then be decided.
The office will review the survey and paperwork gathered to make sure we have everything we need to submit to our funders in order to get the money for your property. The images will be examined by our installation managers and gas engineers to make sure the work can be completed. Any job must adhere to rules, such as those governing gas safety and health and safety.
If you have had an insulation measure installed, under PAS 2030, we have a requirement to ensure your property has full ventilation throughout. This is in the form of both mechanical extractor fans in your kitchens and bathrooms (utility rooms and en-suites are included), as well as trickle vents on your windows (Airbox Trickle Vents). Our team of electricians will install these and leave behind a Minor Electrical Installations Works Certificate. Should ventilation already be present and working- we will not need to replace them.
