Increasing EPC

According to the Domestic Minimum Energy Efficiency Standard, a home must have an EPC of at least an E in order to be rented out as of 2018 for new tenancies and 2020 for existing tenancies.

The goal of this entire program is to raise existing homes’ EPCs.

The program enables us to provide tenants with First Time Central Heating systems, which significantly raises the EPC ratings. A final EPC of a D, which satisfies the standards for all Landlords, will be our minimum requirement for electric premises.

Protect You From Any Fines

A-C Energy rating or above grade will be required for all newly rented homes by 2025, Before the 2025 laws go into effect, we can protect you from any fines by fulfilling this minimal standard with both new central heating systems and insulation (loft, wall, etc.).
The renters’ benefits include significant energy bill savings, which is important given the current energy market.

Works to Meet

The only requirements for tenants are that they live in one of the designated Council districts, earn less than £31,000 in gross income, or get one of the benefits that have been granted.

The property must have had gas on the property before 01.04.22 in order for the works to be eligible. Financing for air source heat pumps will be available in early 2023 where there is no gas meter.
